Trencadís is born from the centuries-old Catalan technique of composing fragments into wholeness. What at first glance appears as a clash of shards—diverse in color, shape, and origin—reveals itself as a luminous harmony, a tapestry of multiplicity transfigured into unity. The piece is a meditation on society itself: men and women, voices and histories, seemingly incompatible, yet capable of forming a beautiful ensemble when brought together with care. It is a hymn to the beauty of coexistence, an ode to diversity that does not divide but enriches.
